Description
Home Electrical Education Session
Understanding the electrics in your home shouldn’t feel scary or complicated. The Home Electrical Education Session is a 1‑on‑1 virtual call where a qualified electrician walks you through the basics of electrical safety using your own home and DB board as a guide.
In this session, we look at photos or live video of your DB (from a safe distance), sockets, multiplugs, and typical setups around your home. You’ll learn what the main breakers and circuits do, how to safely reset a tripped breaker, and how to spot common risk areas like overloaded extensions, damaged cables, and unsafe use near water. Everything is explained in plain language, with no judgment and no jargon.
This session is ideal for new homeowners, tenants, or anyone who wants to feel more confident and in control. You can ask all the “basic” questions you’ve been too shy to ask, and by the end you’ll have a clearer picture of what’s normal, what’s worrying, and when it’s time to call an electrician.
After the call, you receive a simple written checklist or summary that includes:
-
Key safety tips tailored to your home.
-
Things to keep an eye on over time.
-
Clear guidance on when to get professional help.
This is not a formal inspection or compliance certificate, and it doesn’t replace on‑site testing or certification. It’s an educational, advisory session designed to help you understand your home’s electrics better and make safer day‑to‑day choices.
